You can do research over your summer break, earn some money, and learn something new! Students who undertake these projects make a valuable contribution to health research.

The Summer Studentship Programme offers students an opportunity to identify the area that makes them passionate about research, many will follow this research for the rest of their careers.

A summer studentship is a funded 10 week research project at the University of Otago over the summer break.

The list of summer studentships is usually available to students in September of each year.

Further information about the Summer Student programme is available on the University of Otago website. This is the place where details for the 2017/2018 studentships will be available.

My previous students have had publications and won the best overall student prize.
